The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hold more than 3000 banquet events in a year in their various banquet halls like The Ballroom, The Chambers etc. The Hotel maintains inventory of the various supplies needed for these events. However sometimes, due to the huge number of people coming for the said events, The Hotel falls short of these items in which case they have to be hired.
The Hotel has 3 primary suppliers for the banquets. They are:-

2. The Brassline Hirers
3. The Bombay Glassware Museum
D.Karmali & Co
They are the biggest banquet suppliers from amongst the three. The Hotel hires stage decoration, special-request articles demanded by the client (eg. Hawaiian Shirts, Cricket Uniforms), chair covers, overlays, bows etc from them. Their price is inclusive of transportation and labour. The most regularly hired supplies from them are Organza Chair Covers and Organza Overlays.
