“One flew over the cuckoos nest” review
One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is, arguably, among some of the greatest American films of the 20th century it was a $4.4 million dollar movie (which in that time was a large sum of money) directed by a renowned Czech director Milos Foreman. The theme of the movie is based in a mental hospital, a place where the act of rebellion was never revealed until a certain patient, named Randall Patrick McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) is brought into their custody for observation. McMurphy was a convicted rapist and had 5 counts for assault before he “plays mad” and ends up in the mental institution because he thinks it is easier to serve his time in a mental asylum than jail. He soon realizes that a mental asylum isn’t all that great, because some of the “privileges” he used to get in prison, like being able to watch the World Series on Television, was prohibited by the Head Nurse of the institution named Mildred Ratched (Louise......
