Same sex marriages should not be legal
As everybody knows four years ago Massachusetts became the first state to allow same-sex couples to marry. Since then, more than 10,000 gay and lesbian couples have exchanged vows in the state. In may 16 2008, California become the second state that legalized same sex marriages. A report released by the Williams Institute at UCLA law school estimated that 102,000 gay couples could wed in the next three years. Gay rights activists claim that same sex marriages should be allowed because it doesn't hurt anyone; and because it is one of their rights as a human , but this idea it could start a chain reaction that could destroy the whole idea of marriage, what about if someone wants to marry his dog, why shouldn't he be able to? What if someone wants to marry their brother or parent? These ideas of same sex marriages will wreak the traditional family values essential to our society.
