Being that most people returning back to school to further their education are working adults, teams are a familiar part of today's labor force. There can be advantages and disadvantages to working with a team on an educational level. When different people are brought together from different walks of life and are put together in a group setting, conflict will occur whether it is positive or negative. Being able to handle a group conflict successfully and still be able work together is an essential part of a successful team. The key making the team successful is to recognize the issues and address them accordingly, but always putting the team first. A key to always remember when working with a team is that if one falls behind, everyone falls as well. When you learn to deal with these issues, the team will become a unified and dynamic.
