The human brain has a degree to do with depression and the way humans think. Many individuals suffer from chemical imbalances and the lack or over production of certain neuro- transmitters. Not all problems consist within the brain. Genetics and hormones play a large part as well in how humans act and behave.
Genetics
Our parents are the creators of our behavior for the most part in correlation with environmental variables. The genes passed down through our DNA can determine our intelligence, personality, emotions, and whether or not we have a psychological disorder. The genes passed down play a huge part in how our nervous and endocrine systems develop. The outcome of these systems will ultimately determine how he, or she will behave in different situations.
