Heredity and hormones can make or break a person. In this paper I will compare and contrast the influence of heredity and hormones on human behavior. First, there are hormones. Hormones are chemical substances released into the bloodstream to guide such processes as metabolism, growth, and sexual development. Hormones have different affects based on gender. For instance, in women hormones can cause their bodies to go through mood swings. The first noticed affect of hormones is when women are going through menstruation. Some people get the idea that the hormones make them in a bad mood which is not always the case. A woman who are menstruating, their hormones are out of balance and causes their bodies to create mood swings, under normal circumstances, that are beyond their control.
