The 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, directed by Davis Guggenheim gained several awards due to the bold message that gained its audience attention worldwide. Former Vice President, Al Gore, digs into the causes and affects of global warming in order to educate others at a worldwide level. An Inconvenient Truth films Gore as he travels to Asia and America to spread the word, or “Inconvenient Truth”, about global warming using an organized and well understood slideshow. The film recreates the presentation given to students to fit a TV screen. In other words, the audience members of the film experience the presentation as if they were in the auditorium of his actual speech. However, there are several scenes added throughout the film that enhances the impact the film has on the individual viewing the film. Gore uses humor, emotions, and personal experiences to have the greatest impact on the audience members both in the auditorium as scene in the film. He incorporates......
