july 12-13, 2008
it's 8 pm and my phone is dead. My little brother shawn and i are sitting at aryiel's house awaiting her parents arrival. they finally come home and aryiel can spend the night. at about 10:30 pm we head back to my house to drop off shawn and then we let the night begin. at first we think we are going to smithville to meet up with steven and his friends who are camping. turns out that the gates to the campsite are closed and there's no way we can get it in. so we're driving around kansas city looking for things to do at almost 11 pm. we browse through our cellular phonebooks and stumble across a good friend heidi, whom i work with. turns out she is hanging with celie..another coworker. then it also turns out that they're hanging with people aryiel knows. of course we head over to this amazing party spot. we walk in and it's kind of awkward at first because i'm insecure and i didn't really know people. but as the night went on more people came and people also got......
