Start of WWI

Many people believe that WWI took place because of the assassination of the Archduke of Austria-Hungary, Franz Ferdinand. Actually, there were many more reasons and issues which led up to the assassination, thus leading up to WWI. The three issues that were the most important were nationalism, alliances, and industrialism. These three things were all very important to the start of the war and if these things were not going on, the assassination of the Archduke might not have happened.
The most important issue that contributed to the start of WWI was nationalism. Nationalism is the belief that one is part of a nation, and they take pride in the nation they are a part of.
