Opal Whiteley’s journal had many experiences with nature and with animals. Our assignment was to find our favorite spot in Delhi and examine it to relate to Opal Whiteley’s journal. The place I picked was near the entrance to Delhi.
It is in the front of the campus were the cars are entering on the hill. It is towards the right facing the campus. It is on a hill and there was not many people around. During this assignment I went to this place three times. Each time I went it had changed but it was still a peaceful place to go to. I was regretting this assignment because I am not used to staying in one place for a long time. The first time I went it was very quiet, very hot, but relaxing. I felt I that I can get anything done there. As I was sitting there I had saw a few squirrels and birds. They were going through life as I wasn’t there. When I looked around more I noticed that all the tree leaves were green and everything was very peaceful.
