I. Introduction
Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) is defined as any act that involves sexual contact or exploitation of a child by a parent, guardian, or family member. CSA is the physical violation of a child's body through any sort of sexual contact with the intent to arouse. It is a serious crime that infringes on the basic right of a child to be protected, carries long term effects on its victims, and sends them on the long road to recovery.
Since before the days of Ancient Greek pederasty young children have been victims of maltreatment and sexual exploitation because they were believed to have no rights. They were the physical property of family until they were old enough to be considered an adult. The innocence of these children betrayed them, as it was this virtue that older suitors pursued. In early Eastern civilization a females legal age of consent could be as young as 12 years old, and often times if that female received her menstrual before that age she was highly desirable.......
