More than 100,000 deaths are caused by excessive alcohol consumption. Alcohol is the most common used drug among young people. Even though alcohol is allowed only for adults, teenagers can get it easily. Those facts make me ask myself the next question, should alcohol be illegal around the world? I definitely agree alcohol should be illegal. Because alcohol is the cause of almost all poverty, crime, violence, traffic accidents and it is destroying teenagers, it should be illegal.
Alcohol is a direct or indirect cause of death. It is a direct cause when a person is addict to alcohol and dies because of cirrhosis. On the other hand alcohol is and indirect cause when somebody dies in an accident caused by a drunken person or killed by someone who is under the effects of alcohol. There are many reasons why people drink alcohol. Some of them drink for fun. Others drink because they are depressed.
