John Maynard Keynes and his Theory































Intro
In this work I will discuss the contribution of the great economist John Maynard Keynes. At first I will state his brief biography, then I will move on to some selected points of his theory including the IS-LM model and government policies, attitudes towards Say’s law and the Quantitative Theory of Money and the Theory of Employment. I will finish with a couple of words about Keynes’s followers and summing up his theory.

Bio
John Maynard Keynes was born on June 5, 1883 in Cambridge as a son of an economic professor John Neville Keynes and a writer Florence Ada Brown. Keynes underwent education at the most famous British schools Eton and Cambridge. At Cambridge Keynes studied economics and was led by lecturers with “great names” Alfred Marshall and Arthur Cecil Pigou. He finished......
