Same Sex Marriage

As many years have passed, it has become more obvious that traditional relationships are a thing of the past. After the Civil Rights Movement, interracial relationships gradually became more common and the couples were antagonized because of it. Interracial couples became accepted by most Americans and now are accepted in society by a large amount. Though our society has accepted different types of relationships, it still points fingers at another nontraditional relationship: same-sex couples. Why are so many people against homosexuals? Equality is what our country is all about. Why not treat couples the same way? What about benefits for married couples? Many people say gay marriage is immoral, as well. Immorality goes far beyond same-sex marriage and couples. Gay marriage should be legalized in America.
