A Review of Dracula

My boyfriend and I attended Dracula at the Baton Rouge Little Theater. Neither of us had ever been to a production by Baton Rouge Little Theater, nor had we seen or read Dracula previously. The only thing I knew about Dracula was that he is a vampire and that in order to sustain life, vampires must suck blood from humans. I had heard that this was a more modernized version of the play, so I imagined it would be set in the 20th century.

Even though we had dressed up, I really was not expecting the formal attire that people were wearing. When we arrived at the theater, we found our seats and were pleased to discover that we had an excellent view of the stage. If facing the stage, we were seated in the mid section, a little to the right in the audience.

The play began with Mina and Lucy discussing marriage. Mina said that she was engaged, and Lucy added that she had been proposed......
