Some companies have found a balance between these two by paying less for labor expenses in countries exterior to the United States, such as India and Honduras. Although this is beneficial to the consumers and the manufacturers, the ones working are at a real disadvantage, especially children. The Child Labor Photo Project defines child labor as work for children that harms them or exploits them in some way whether it be physically, mentally, morally, or by blocking access to education (CLPP). In an effort to provide their consumers with the lowest prices and out price other competitors, large corporations are using children as its source of labor; products from such corporations should be boycotted.
