Banning Smoking
When I first saw University of San Francisco, I was impressed by all the greens with which it was surrounded. There were a great number of palm trees lined up on Lone Mountain Campus entrance. The stair case had flowers following along in their whites, pinks, reds and purples. All those flowers and plants are what make nature smell pleasant. Even with all the floras, I still have difficulty in actually smelling these natural wonders. Whenever I walk up to Lone Mountain or in any other places in fact, I will come across clouds of smoke – second hand smoke.
Breathing the air makes my throat dry out and my lungs sting, causing me to cough and hack. My body responds by expelling the smoke from my lungs with further cough attacks. My nose closes up, stopping my breathing until the cloud of tobacco smoke is away in a safe distance. Until then, I am unable to breathe.
