Plot: There is a child whose plane crashed and he is forced to survive winter in a forest near because the pilot of the plane died. Brian has to hunt, get firewood, find a shelter and keep warm through the winter.
Characters: Brain, a Thirteen-year-old boy who is left alone in the Canadian wilderness with few things found on the plane from the previous plane crash. Skunk, an animal that comes by very often and threats to spray Brian so that Brian will toss him a piece of meat. Bear, an animal that attacks every time that he smells some food coming from Brian's shelter.
