Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: An Unfamiliar Disorder

Andrea, like most sixteen year olds, was very excited about getting her drivers license. She was a careful driver, in fact both her instructor and the lady at the testing center commented on how careful and mature of a driver she was. The first week she had her license everything went fine. Her dad was rather excited that she would get to drive to her doctor’s appointment and then pick him up on her way home. The day of Andrea’s doctor appointment, Andrea was to pick her dad up as soon as she was finished at the doctor’s office. Well, more than an hour passed after the time she was expected to show up and her dad begins to become a little worried. Finally, when Andrea arrived, more than an hour and a half late, she was in tears and looked completely exhausted. Her father assumed she must had been in a car wreck but, that was not the case.
