Dictionaries give the word abortion many different definitions, some which include: the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy any of various surgical methods for terminating a pregnancy the premature expulsion of a nonviable fetus from the uterus; a miscarriage. All of these definition make abortion seem like a type of needed surgery that may even be thought of as a miscarriage. Well, not in my opinion! Abortion to me is the termination of pregnancy before the fetus is capable of independent life. Abortion happens after the fetus becomes viable (capable of independent life), usually at the end of six months of pregnancy, it is not premature birth it’s simply a form of legalized murder. Yes, it does take surgery to perform an abortion, but the practice of abortion is so widespread and many are beginning to use it as a method of birth control. I understand pro choice views, but what about the life that is being taken......
