Country Cruisin’
“Vacation is what you take when you can't take what you've been taking any longer.” In recent years, my family has been going on a big vacation once annually. Last year, we decided to go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to visit all that the Great Smoky Mountains had to offer. We left the first day after school let out, and started on our 10 hour drive. This was going to be the third major vacation I had ever been on with my family, in my entire life. In 6th grade I went to Florida, courtesy of Brian Johnson, and in 8th grade, I visited Virginia. Florida and Virginia were a blast, but little did I know, that Tennessee was going to be 10 times better.
Now traveling 500+ miles in a green, not-so-new, 2001 Dodge Ram Van is not exactly a stroll in the park, especially with 8 people, and enough luggage to last a year. This was not the first time I had ever been on a road trip down I-95, but it was without doubt the first time that I did it in that kind of weather. It......
