WWII is known as one of the greatest tragedies in the world of the 1900’s. Although this event did not occur in the United States, we had a huge part in what happened during and after the war. Through the entire crisis and the fighting, we somehow managed to recover from such a horrific affair, and put the world back at peace. Recovery from WWII and the Great Depression, and the 1st and 2nd New Deal were reasons Franklin D. Roosevelt is [1]‘the savior of American capitalism and the foremost reformer in the country’s history’.
Roosevelt first took office in January of 1932 after winning 432 electoral votes and 53.5% of the popular votes. At the time, The Great Depression was causing more and more people to lose their jobs.
