The Entergy corporation is the second largest power producer in the United States it produces over 30,000 mega watts of power distributing it to over 2.6 million customers across 4 states Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. It has over 14, 500 employees and produces over 10 billion dollars a year in revenue. The company is a major dealer in electricity, natural gas with over 40 power plants generating its electricity. Entergy motto is if it can’t do it safely than they don’t do it. Nothing is more important to Entergy than they safety of its customers and employees.

Entergy has reduced the rate of lost-work-day incidents continually since 1998. In 2005, Entergy’s safety performance placed it in the top 10 percent of companies as rated by the benchmarking agencies Southwestern Electric Exchange, Southwest Electric Safety Exchange and Organization Resources......
