The Life and Times of Joan of Arc
Jeanne d'Arc was commonly know as Joan of Arc, or sometimes Maid of Orléans. She was born 1412 in Domrémy now known as Domrémy-la-Pucelle, France to a peasant family. She grew up as a devout Catholic under the strong influence of my deeply religious mother.

By the time 1425 when she was 13, she had, had religious visions and heard voices she thought came from what she believed to be, Saint Michael and the early Christian martyrs Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Margaret. Some historians believe that she may have been a clairvoyant—that is, a person who has knowledge of events happening far away or in the future without using any of the five senses.
