The role of Information and Communication technology (ICT) is dramatically important for socio-economic development at both the macro and micro level, particularly in relation to small and medium enterprises. Through digital divide networks, SME focus on key areas such as technology access, literacy and trainings, learning skills, content and economic development. The effective and efficient ways for SMEs that ICT provides can lead towards economic growth and development. Specialized communication cases are Internet use, mobile communication, online trading, facsimile and telephone channels so that SMEs may have better customer relations, efficient marketing and cost effective advertising and promotions. SMEs are adopting all ICT techniques to foster their operations, information flow, new market access and globalisation. However ICT application for SMEs in developing countries is quite different.
