In this day and age the nation needs someone wise and patient, yet one who possesses the ability to manage America correctly. This nation needs a president who will not crumble or show weakness in times of crisis. Leaving part of America suffering with no insurance, in poverty, or wondering where their future lies, can no longer be an option. Though the country feels we are not ready for an African American man taking on this large role, I believe Barack Obama contains the qualities of a great leader as the next president of the United States.

Barack Obama is a Democrat devoted to progress the American people. He has seen what President Bush has done with America and vowed to do better to steer the nation onto a clear path where the issues segregating our nation can be resolved. Senator Obama has reached out to Republicans to find areas of common ground. He has been able to develop innovative approaches to challenge the status quo and achieve results.
