Introduction

For this assignment, we have chosen local Malaysian band “HUJAN” as our successful, well-known figure. This band has achieved so many awards and recognition as a band in Malaysia as well as outside of Malaysia. This band is also an icon to Malaysian teenagers and they have their own fans known as “The RAINGERS”. Hujan had performed in MMU several times as the guest artist.

Reasons For Choosing The Band

This band consists of young and talented teenagers and come from different backgrounds. The band members are from various states of Malaysia like Sarawak, Kedah and Kuala Lumpur. The band started from zero and now is believed as among successful independent bands in Malaysia alongside Estranged, Bittersweet, Meet Uncle Hussein and the famous Butterfingers.
