Joe DiMaggio was born on November 25, 1914. He had nine brothers. His dad was a fisherman and often not around to show Joe how to live his life the right way, most of the times him and his brother would do the work when his dad was out fishing. Joe started working at the age of 9 as a newspaper boy. At the age of 17 he dropped out of high school and his parents didn’t find out till a year later when the principle went to his house and asked his parents why he was not showing up.
His oldest brother and Vince his other brother played baseball with a team named Rossi sponsored by a local Olive-Oil company. That got Joe interested in playing baseball for a living. His friends and him would get together and play baseball but it would cost them money each time just to play, because the ball was all torn apart from hitting it all the time.
Joe finally got his shot as a baseball player, because of his brother Vince when he talked his manger into signing Joe to there team. The team......
