In the novel/play Macbeth there is a reoccurring pattern before every major event. Lady Macbeth plays a strong role in this oblique pattern. There is a nasty pattern that Lady Macbeth has before an assassination where she turns into a greedy human. This affects Macbeth through out the entire play. Lady Macbeth is a woman who is obsessed with the good life, fame & fortune. It seemed as though Lady Macbeth wanted the throne for her husband , more than he wanted it for himself. She is willing to do whatever it takes to get her way. In this case, Lady Macbeth it is for Macbeth to be crowned king, but most importantly to her is to achieve her goal of become queen.
The first event of this pattern is in Act 1, Scene 3. This is when Lady Macbeth starts to have thoughts about creating a way to royalty. She starts to see and listen to three evil witches. Telling her that evil is good in her situation. That was the start of many different wrong-doings.
