The movie The Shawshank Redemption based on the story written by Stephen King was very good movie. It was interesting to see the difference and similarities between the book and movie. I found the movie to be very touching and sad at the same time. He movie was able to reach me at an emotionally level where the book was not. Being able to see a visual of the characters and there expression was easier than trying to imagine them. When watching the movie you are able to see how the characters react and their physical movements that makes it more detailed, which basically makes it better. In my opinion I liked the movie better.
There was also many difference in the movie from the book that made the movie seem better. In the movie Tommy was killed by Warden Norton, this made the movies suspense increase. In the book Warden Norton had Tommy sent to another prison. I think it was kind of plan compared to killing him. It made Warden Norton look crueler which added to his mean......
