My favorite holiday is Christmas and it always on December 25th. I enjoy the idea of giving and receiving presents and going to church to watch the Christmas plays and I enjoy the Christmas parades that different towns have during this holiday season. Because gift-giving and several other aspects of the holiday involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, Christmas has become a major event for many retailers. I enjoy letting the children help me put up the Christmas tree. It’s a pleasure to see them excited by the Christmas lights on the tree and on the house. I ride around to different towns so they can see other people decorations. Christmas is based on the story of Jesus’ birth. December 25 is not thought to be Jesus' actual date of birth and the date may have been chosen to correspond with a Roman Festival.
