Mariners Inn is a Substance Abuse treatment facility. Mariners Inn was founded in 1925 by the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan and called the Detroit Protestant Episcopal City Mission Society. The agency’s (Mariners Inn) headquarters were at, Mariners’ Church of Detroit. Mariners Inn provided food, lodging, and clothing for the poor.
Problem Statement
The agency has 54 employees of which, 75% of the staff is in recovery. Due to the fact that majority of the staff is in recovery, Mariners Inn has experienced a problem with consistence among staff when addressing the clients of the facilities. Yet the real problem lies with management’s inconsistence regarding policy and procedures.
