Using technology to cheat seems to be a topic that is touched upon more and more often in the news lately. As technology grows, the capability of people to use it for cheating seems to grow at an alarmingly rapid rate. Students are finding more and more ways to use technological advances to their (supposed) advantage, while teachers and professors are trying to increase the use of technology to catch these new hi-tech cheaters. People who are abusing these increasing technological capabilities seem to be gaining acceptance amongst the student populations of colleges and universities nationwide. While using technology for cheating may be easier; it is unethical and unfair because it creates an advantage over students who do not cheat.”
