Do you believe that all stages of life are the same? Do you think we develop certain
understandings and beliefs as we grow older? The fact is that as we grow older we continue
through different stages of life. In this paper, I will discuss the beliefs of the adolescent stage
from different psychologists. I will also observe someone in that stage of life and write about
my finding and observations.
Adolescence is Piaget's final stage of cognitive development, which begins at age 12 and
continues through adulthood, adolescents become able to apply mental operations to abstract
situations. They can reason systematically about objects or ideas that are present. They can
concentrate on the form of a problem and not be distracted by the content .Piaget calls this period
formal operations. Formal operations, according to Piaget is the time in which people begin to
