In the book 1984, the people are scared of everything in the world of 1984. They are ruled by Big Brother and forced to live a certain way. It got so bad that the people were scared of their own family. The people who lived in the world of 1984 were forced to live a certain way by fear. At the time the people may have not known it, but a select few broke away and figured out the truth. The people were forced to think ka certain way and have s vocabulary that was made by the higher class people. What would happen if one were to break this rule? The thought police would arrest that person and take them to the ministry of love. At the ministry love the criminal would be tortured until the criminal thought the expected way.
