Domestic companies employ 378,250,after laying off 42,750 jobs in 2007, while foreign companies only employ 106,000 people, after adding 3,000 positions, also in 2007 (Figure 1) (Neff, 2003-2008). Even though the foreign companies pay the employees’ wages, the majority of the revenue made from the profit of the employees’ labor is befitting the foreign company’s home country, not the national economic development of America. The purchase of domestic vehicles will lower layoffs, in turn helping improve America’s economy verses improving foreign country’s economy.......
