Labor Ready has decided to expand it’s presence to the South Pacific island of Kava. We have two options, 1) to build another branch on the island or 2) to build a satellite office where all calls from customers will be made through an 800 number. The 800 number will direct emails, and phone calls to a branch in the US, and the branch manager will relay the message to Alex or me that a customer is requesting a worker. Chris, Alex and I determined that the most cost effective option is to build a full size branch.

Labor Ready has made the decision to expand to Kava in order to support and promote the economy of that nation. We believe that option one (build a new Labor Ready Branch in Kava) most closely aligns with this goal by allowing the current island residents to support the venture and work in an income-generating environment.
