They range from lack of energy conservation to atmospheric pollution and everything in between. I intend to show how the rise of the human population has a huge impact on our environment as we know it today. I also intend to show how it could improve over time if things were to change. In 2007 the world population was 6.6 billion people, which was a jump up from the 6.1 billion people in 2000. The population is projected to rise to 9.3 million people by the year 2050. These numbers indicate a problem for us, as humans, and the environment as we know it. We, as humans, hold the responsibility of negatively influencing all of the important environmental issues such as atmospheric pollution, water resources, terrestrial resources and energy conservation.
