The debate over biofuels has provoked an ethical issue involving food and fuel. Biofuels are renewable, recently dead, biological material, usually derived from plants. Fossil fuels are non-renewable, aged, dead biological material. Due to the worlds limited supply of crude oil we must produce a new energy source to help to sustain current human lifestyles. Analyse the impact on food costs and supplies
Analyse the main types of biofuels
Analyse cellulose and other alternatives
The extent of the investigation will primarily concern the effects biofuels will have in New Zealand.
