Christopher Reeve
Born on September 25, 1952, in New York City, was a man named Christopher Reeve. Christopher began studying the piano and taking voice lessons as a child. He later became an assistant orchestra conductor and began acting at age 9. Acting was were what made Christopher famous. In 1978 be played the "Man of Steel" in the movie Superman. Besides acting, he also was a spokesperson for the arts and a political activist.
In May of 1995 Reeve was nearly killed in a horse riding accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. Since the accident, Reeve has become convinced he will walk again and has increased the funding for spinal cord research. Christopher has done the unthinkable by directing movies and acting since his accident.
Christopher has become a leader and inspiration to many people throughout the world. People with the same or with a worse diagnosis as Chris, have started to believe that nothing can hold them back from reaching their goals and......
