Today's world can be very tough for students of all ages. Our country is at war with many enemies for many reasons. This can produce many problems for students and they may turn to school counselor's, teachers, and other school faculty for help. It is a difficult responsibility for them but needs to be dealt with correctly.
There are many different ways that students can be affected by terrorism. Terrorism can have a direct effect on them when someone they know has been hurt or killed by terrorists. An example of this would be the World Trade Center bombings. There was a high number of deaths, especially parents, in the attack. That would leave a large number of students in our area directly affected by terrorism.
