The use of the phrase " Kingdom of God" in the gospel of Matthew creates a different meaning of the idea of the word "Kingdom". The obvious interpretation of the idea of Kingdom is land that is ruled by a King. Through the works of Matthew there is distinctive effort into placing the "kingdom of god" in the passages.
In Matthew 19:23, Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." It is implicated that the Kingdom of God is a physical place to reach. There is a thought that is concluded in the analysis of this passage that the "Kingdom" is a place where you are let in.
