The main character in Fahrenheit 452 and Minority Report are similar in many ways. In Minority Report, John goes against his job and same with Guy. John goes against the pre-crime while Guy goes against burning the books. They both have family troubles. John got a divorce with his wife and lost his son while Guy and his wife never talk to each other about there feelings.

In the beginning of both Fahrenheit 451 and minority report they were both with what they're jobs were but in the end they had different opinions. In Fahrenheit 451 he was for burning all the books but then as the story unfolds he changes his perspective and is against it.
