The first Amendment was created for good intentions, meaning to give people the freedom that they believe that they deserve. But what people do not understand is that too much freedom and the American population will believe that they are the president and have the power to do or say anything they choose to. I do not think that all of this freedom is healthy, people should have some boundaries and they should know what they are.
In the first amendment it states that any American shall have freedom of speech. For one, that's not true, but that's beside the point. No one should have the right to have freedom of speech; they do not have control over their mouths most of the time. People are cruel and will deliberately say mean things to hurt one another. Now, I don't think that statement was created to hurt someone; I believe it was created to that people can speak their minds. But like I said too much freedom of speech and Americans will go crazy saying anything they want.......
