Ohio's only passion play, depicts the major events in the life of the Jesus Christ, the Savior by transporting the audience back through history to the time when God manifested his glory and love to man through his Son Jesus. The Bible comes to life before your eyes with Jesus' birth, the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, his ministry, the Last Supper, crucifixion, resurrection, and his glorious ascension.
The purpose of this play is to take the audience back to the time when Jesus walked the earth. The playwright is trying to get the audience to recognize how Jesus' lived during his time on the earth.
The set was very well done it was done in a representational way, which means that it is crafted realistically to look and function just as the scenic location would in the real world. The setting was ancient Jerusalem. The theatre is an outdoor theatre, there were three different sets build on site, one was the temple, one was the last supper room, one the Roman empire. They......
