The industrial revolution was the developments that transformed Great Britain. From 1750 to 1830, the town-centred society was transformed into factory manufacture. After years of increasing dissatisfaction with the way the royal family and aristocratic class treated them, the people of France moved towards improving their lot in life. During the Classical period it became more and more possible for the public to enjoy and participate in leisure activities. The people wanted an end to tax exemptions and special privileges given to the nobility.
