I believe that Kim Clijsters is the best female tennis player that has yet to win a grand slam tennis title.
A grand slam is a major tennis tournament that all the players look to win. There are a sum of one hundred and twenty-eight players that begin the tournament and the winner has to go through seven rounds to become the champion. There are four of these tournaments a year: the Australian open, Roland Garros (The French Open), Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open.
Kim, of Belgium, has had an amazing career so far winning a total of twenty-seven titles and a win/loss record of 352-85. She has dazzled the crowds with her trademark splits and defensive play to get to all the balls that most players wouldn't even try to touch. She plays a great defensive game, but can turn most defensive shots into offensive shots.
