The Bush administration has claimed that the war in Iraq is a fight for freedom, and democracy. I've heard the administration say that it was about the weapons of mass destruction. I've heard that it was a war to remove Saddam Hussien from power. Several government officials have said there are definitely
relations between Iraq and Al Queda, and we were invading because Iraq harbored terrorists. The president has even said "We need to fight the terrorists ‘over there' so we don't have to fight them here". I see things from a totally different point of view. I see an invasion for military bases. I see an invasion for oil reserves. I see an invasion for installing a government that will benefit the United States' interests. I see an invasion that made certain corporations millions of dollars, and cost taxpayers billions. This war has cost the lives of thousands of civilians and thousands of soldiers. This war was ordered by a man who "is seen by many, at best, as an......
