Christopher Crosby Farley was born February 15, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris attended Marquette University and got a degree in theatre and communications. In the late eighties Farley performed at the Second City theatre and was discovered by Lorne Michaels, the producer of Saturday Night Live. Farley started on SNL in 1990. His comedic enthusiasm made him a favorite widely known as Matt Foley the motivational speaker. He got offered a job acting in Wayne's World and that's when he left SNL along with Adam Sandler to focus more on his acting career.
Farley briefly appeared in movies before landing his biggest roles in, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills ninja, and his last movie Almost Heroes. Farley had millions of fans across America. But he let his drug and alcohol dependencies get in the way. Friends and colleagues were concerned and knew the dangers. They knew he felt as if he could not stop.
