The best part of waking up is walking outside and taking a deep breath of fresh morning air. As I stroll out the door I pause a moment and I breathe. After all, I have a Spanish exam to take today, and exams aren't as easy as they may appear to be. Sure, it's only a few pieces of paper with a little bit of printer ink on it, but all the same, it is intimidating.
I approach the school and I see a few familiar faces. I have attended this school since kindergarten. Almost every day for the past nine years I have walked inside that school and heard my feet tapping quietly on the linoleum flooring. I have memorized every corner, every wall, every sink, and every classroom. The floor pattern becomes well engraved in your mind after a while in that building since it is a small school.
